How to cook Various Creamy Pasta

Creamed Pasta with Salmon

Ingredients:
2 cups pasta
1/2 cup boiled peas
2 cups boiled spinach
1/4 cup boiled corn
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour
1-1/2 cup milk
Salt as per taste
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp pepper powder
1 cup salmon pieces
1/2 cup grated cheese

Method:
1. In a large pot bring 4 cups water to boil
2. Put the pasta and let it cook till tender (approx 15 mins.)
3. Drain and keep aside
4. Drain the spinach and grind it (the consistency should be like paste)
5. In a pan heat butter
6. Put flour and cook for a minute
7. Pour in milk, stirring continuously
8. When it boils, add rest of ingredients except pasta
9. Cook for 2-3 mins.
10. Pour the hot mixture over pasta
11. Mix pasta and creamy mixture and serve hot
Making Time: 30 Mins.


Creamy Mushroom Pasta


Ingredients:
50-75g pasta (macaroni or spaghetti)
75g mushrooms
10g grated cheese
1 tbsp. yoghurt
2 tsps. finely chopped parsley

Method:
1. Cook the pasta in a pan of slightly salted water until it is cooked but still firm.
2. 'Dry fry' the mushrooms in a non-stick pan until they are soft.
3. Add the pasta and yoghurt to the mushrooms, mix well
4. Stir in the parsley.
5. Transfer to a warmed plate and sprinkle with the grated cheese.
